While Teflon may be standing up for his fellow coaches, this may explain part of the freak-out.

Seems like the NBA and NBPA may come to a compromise on the minimum age. I'd like to see a compromise similar to baseball where you have the option of entering at 18 or going to college for a minimum of two seasons.

Anyone else see Lavar Ball's interview last night!!?? Once again said Lonzo was better than Steph Curry right now. Said put Lonzo on the ws and Steph on UCLA. Funny Steph was a shot away from a final four with no other talent on a DAVIDSON team lol. Yet Ball has several top tier talents. I think Lavar needs to shut up. His kids are the athletes not him and he is gonna make GM's have to think about picking him more than they should have to come draft time.

As far as the Calipari interview.

That's the nature of a high paying coaching job. It's the business. A certain expectation exist for W's. You either meet it or they try someone else. I suppose he has a point about the mid season thing but if a school has made up its mind regardless of the outcome of the last few games, so be it.

For example, if IU wins BTT and goes to the sweet sixteen (won't happen) I'd still be for moving on. Crean doesn't meet my expectations as an IU fan. Hopefully he doesn't meet Glass'.

I honestly don't get his beef. Even on the mid season thing. If a coach is going to be fired mid season it isn't a knee jerk reaction. There has been buildup to that point. The coaches also are building in buyouts to their contracts. That is their severance pre-negotiated. How many careers have that setup in their contracts? I don't feel sorry for them.
