johnsoniu Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Running thru the odds for todays slate so I can keep FanDuel in business. UCLA @Iowa with an O/U of 137.5. Yikes, Iowa games under Fran were consistently around 160 for the totals. This is gonna skew the hell out of my algorithm. Damn you McCollum! WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted January 3 Posted January 3 @Uspshoosier Thought you might like this. This was in my Facebook feed from 13 years ago today. It was initially ruled good, but the Arizona crowd managed to intimidate the officials into overturning it. Arizona went on to win in OT. RoadRage and Uspshoosier 2 Quote

Kind of annoyed right now that St John’s/Providence game got bumped for now. Hopefully it isn’t off much longer. Wrap this other crap up Quote
Uspshoosier Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Finally on. Providence has cut into the lead. St. John’s up 4 with 7:26 to go in the first half Quote
Uspshoosier Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Virginia up 22 at NC State with 8:53 to go. Nc state had cut a 20 pt halftime deficit to 10 and then Virginia responded with a big run LIHoosier 1 Quote

Metrics are really good however their non con sos is around 269 with 4 wins against teams 300 + net. Best win is Ole Miss which is 90 in the net. Quote

I don't think Bobby Knight in his prime ever came this close to punching a ref.....maybe the Ted Valentine walk around came close, but never thought Knight had any intention to punch him! Quote

We love IU but a guy like Hoiberg is thinking like any of us when presented with options to pull up stakes for a new employer. 6mos ago I would’ve said NIL and revenue split at IU would be the difference and worth jumping for. Now we probably spend more money on football than Nebraska and the football/basketball split might be higher too. Quote

Sometimes you can have a hall of fame coach, boatload of NIL money and fill out a roster with talent and still lose at home. St. John’s might be one of the most disappointing teams in college basketball this year Demo, str8baller and Pagoda 3 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Tenn/Arkansas just tipping off. Should be a good one Quote
