It won't happen if FAU wins the conference tournament, but the AAC should be at least a two bid league.  If not, the NIT could be a AAC invitational field.....South Florida, SMU, Memphis.....maybe even UAB and Charlotte with a shot.

FWIW, a late season run by Indiana likely won't even produce an NIT bid.  New rule has the NIT pick the top two unselected NET teams from each of the six power six conferences that aren't selected for the NCAA tournament. IU is nowhere close.
