The college game depends on coaching and officiating. The two things it specifically should *not* be about.

Disagree on the coaching part.  If it weren't for different coaching styles and different offensive and defensive schemes, the game would be boring...kind of like the NBA.

I really don't get it. The NBA is full of huge guys and incredible athletes attacking the rim and charges are rarely called.

A lot of players would rather give up the dunk than their bodies. Officials are also more inclined to call a block for the sake of stats/highlights.

As expected, MSU and Kansas looking flat. Not surprising considering how they lost Friday night and having to fly from Hawaii all the way to New York.

I read/heard data about teams returning from Maui and losses in the B1G/ACC Challenge. It wasn't a good winning percentage.

I agree there. I think the different styles make the college game more fun. I just feel like sometimes the college game can be made more about the coaches coaching than the players playing. It's a perception thing, where the referees are an actual problem.

Edit: Don't agree that the NBA is boring, but do think college is more fun. The NBA can be a lightning rod for basketball fans.

I think Haas has NBA potential, and maybe after this season.

He is HUGE even by NBA standards.

Great touch. Can shoot free throws. Pretty good hands.

Solve the foul trouble issue and the sky is the limit.

Also, Swanigan is as advertised. Carsen Edwards is a solid fresh.

As expected, Purdue has a pretty good team. One great scoring guard away from being a title contender.

Glad V got the W.

Haas is far to big and slow for the NBA. Especially with the way the NBA is moving towards a smaller position-less game. He's a dinosaur.
