I'm worried about the game at Nebraska. This is our first true road game in a hostile environment. The Georgetown game couldn't have been scheduled at a better time. Lets hope that we get something out of that game other than a bruised ego.

I know Hova's vote, and agree.  Only because Illinois has a 10-3 record like we do and would like a bit of separation there starting early.

Could very well be another win the first half by 10 and lose the second half by 20 game. Some reason I think we pull this one out then lose two of the next three.

Took a look at our schedule and we play Michigan once at home and Illinois once away. So, I would rather see Michigan win this contest. I like our chances of beating Michigan at home a little better than getting Illinois at their place.

Early in the B1G season I always cheer for the he team, sans Purdue, until we know how teams are slotting out and who we need to lose for us to move up.

something interesting i'm noticing from the box score of the Michagan v Illinois game...

currently at 40-32, Illinois winning with 15 mins to go.  However, Illinois' point leader so far in the game is Malcolm Hill, with 7 POINTS.   Do they spread the love around, or what?


EDIT:  also, Illinois has 3 players that have 5 rebounds each, while Michigan just has 1 player with 4 boards.

Looks like Michigan will pull it out and that's exactly what I want. A road win for Illinois would really propel them into national recognition.

One thing is for certain. The B1G is weak and wide open. Crean better dominate while he's got the chance!
