For everyone worried about uniform changes reference notre dame who just switched from Adidas to Under Armor. Virtually nothing has changed in their football uniforms except very small things if any.

No I doubt it.  IU has done this many times over the last 2 decades.  We've been Logo Athletic, Starter, Nike, Adidas and more that I am probably forgetting.  We might eventually get a 3rd uniform or an alternate like we had last year with the Cream Hoosiers Jersey which a lot of people were not fond of.  The Jordan brand sponsors several big time schools, off of the top of my head North Carolina has them and there uniform has stayed true to tradition.  There are minor changes to the Uniforms when they switch but hardly noticeable.  

I know we have changed before, but the way Nike has been doing their schools uniforms i.e. Oregon, it seems like they change everyone's that they sponsor...I would hate to have some god awful uniforms like our football helmets for instance...

Nike wouldn't change our jerseys.  That wouldn't be a wise business decision on their part.

Haha, i actually don't mind our football helmets.  I think that people would like them a lot more if we were winning.  People just need to face it, that's how Division 1 Football is now, lots of uniforms, flashy shoes, shiny helmets, everything is gaudy now.  Also being Indiana Fans, I've also grown accustomed to Hoosier fans liking absolutely no change.  If the Jordan Brand would become our new Basketball sponsor and they changed subtle things about our uniforms but still honored our traditional look, then I'd be fine with it.  As long as we kept the Candy Stripes which I already know that we would.

I don't think it's the sponsors' choice on uniforms. The AD/Coach will have the final say on permanent uniform changes.

It's not that I don't like change...its the "GAUDY" that I don't like...just not into it....like putting big rear fins on a Civic or those little 13 inch wheels on a Mustang back in 1993. Yeah you changed the look and some may think its cool but after awhile it gets old and you have to change it...then its changed to 28 inch wheels and after a while those are not liked, then what? Where as you might change the look a llittle but not gaudy, and the style last longer. It remains timeless...Just my opinion. But I'm also a minimalist, I don't buy the latest and greastest toys and gadgets...I left the advertising world, because I just lost interest in the material items...I'm not a troglodyte or a Luddite, but a little goes along way...too much salt can really screw up my souffle', so to speak... :biggrin:

Well my favorite 2 teams, (Colts and IU Basketball) have virtually the same uniforms going back the last 50 years.  I just wouldn't freak out if IU basketball changed their uni's or offered a 3rd Uni.
