I've liked him since I was sneaking out of my room to watch his high school games when I was in 2nd grade. Would you rather IU lose in the NC game or the sweet 16? I would say the NC game but not 4 damn times out of 7. There's a difference if it's one or two times. But more than that and it's just a bad story Quote
BtownBanner6 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 With the refs help. And dominated it so much to have a losing finals record?Yes it's being dominated when you go to 6 straight finals. It also took Jordan 4 years and Pippen to even get a winning record. Lebron took a team that won 17 games and in 2 years he had them above .500 record and over 50 the next year. Hoosier Guy Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Well on the actual game, I wouldn't have called a TO. I would've let the Pacers play it out Quote

You used Lebron's finals record against him, I said that it's better to make it to the finals than not make it at all. If LeBron had lost before the finals in the four years that he lost then he would have a 3-0 finals record. It's not like Jordan only played 6 seasons and won championships each year. There were plenty of years where he lost before he even made it to the finals. Why do you think it's better to lose in, say, the conference semifinals than the NBA finals? Quote

IUfan_Charlie Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Nate should've never called that timeout. Let PG make a play without Cleveland setting up their defense. Then after the timeout the play he called was a PG iso with not 1 screen. We needed that one, game 2 is a must win. ThompsonHoosier, Hoosier Guy and mdn82 3 Quote

Hoosier Guy Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 No you put 5 shooters so they can't double team with the threat of a tripleA triple should never have been the mindset in the first place. I'm expecting a 5 game series but I expect every game to be competitive. BtownBanner6 1 Quote
