Are the refs the reason they swept the Pistons last year in? How about when they swept the Hawks last year? Or we can go to a throwback and talk about when he dragged a team with Larry Hughes as its second best player to the NBA finals. The man has been to six straight NBA finals. The refs are the only reason for that? Cmon man, that's just ridiculous. In the NBA finals last year LeBron scored 4.4 of his 29.7 points per game at the free throw line. It's not like he was getting 15-20 free throws a night. How are you not getting this? He may not need them every series but regardless he gets their help. Playoff Lebron is just just Lebron getting extra help. Quote

Show me a series where LeBron won because of the refs. Watch this video and I think it'll make sense. LeBron is the first threat to Jordan's legacy and people don't like it. https://mobile.twitter.com/theherd/status/844971048642629633 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Let me guess, you also think LeBron can't win without a team full of superstars? Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 LeBron is great. No one can question that. But to say that guy isn't a whiny b!tch that almost always has the refs help is absolutely ludicrous. And he's not even close to Jordan. The closest thing to Jordan is Kobe. And even that isn't that close. No one will ever be Michael Jordan HoosierAloha, mdn82 and ThompsonHoosier 3 Quote

I think your insecurity is showing. He's never won without the refs. Hes like a kid who keeps using training wheels for way too long. He probably is perfectly capable of winning without the refs. But he's never done it. He's always got 3 guys in his back pocket to fall back on. When the going gets tough the whistles come out. And the truly great teams are able to overcome it. But right now the Cavs are allowed to manhandle the Pacers. Where the Pacers can't even touch the Cavs. There's nothing impressive about winning a rigged game. So when your entire careee is rigged it's gonna lose some luster. Quote

Kobe was actually the first threat. Lebron is great no doubt. Probably even the most talented player of all time. He is not the greatest player of all time. He takes plays and games off. That debate is a preference thing, and personally for me he is top 5 no doubt. They are at the point they have played right at the same amount of games. My preference is Jordan all day everyday at both ends.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app waitingon6 and Hoosier Guy 2 Quote

Top 5 for sure when it's all done. They are different type of players. It's a different era. But if I were starting a team and had to choose between 25 year old Lebron or Jordan, I take Jordan. You will get 82 games plus playoffs from a player obsessed with winning every night.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app HoosierAloha 1 Quote

Hoosier Guy Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I hate LeBron and his cronies. Such a prima donna b!tch that always complains when one call doesn't go his way. It gets old. Go out and prove you're the best instead of relying on stripes to give you the benefit of the doubt Quote

That's a pretty loaded stat assuming Lebron was the only one sitting out. He wasn't in most of those games. Usually Love and/or Kyrie were out as well.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosier Guy 1 Quote

I understand it though. He has a crazy amount of mileage on his body at this point and has to pace himself to have enough left in the tank for the finals. With all the great players in history it's hard to point to one as being the best. You've got great big men, great guards, and great wings so it's tough to compare them since they all had different roles. Quote
