Think Johnson is likely a candidate to start by January. Robinson maybe, but he seems to be better suited to come off of the bench.

Rojo and Stan become an extremely deadly 1-2 punch off the bench at the 2 and 3 spots. Zeisloft starts, but doesn't get starter's minutes once Stan subs in.

This is about what I see. Zeisloft may play more in the beginning of the season just based on the experience he has. I think Stan as a 6th man is crazy awesome. Add DD bruising down low to that 1-2-3 punch of the bench and I'm happy with our team.

I also agree, I think that Nick Z fits in nice with the starters and stretches the floor nicely.  I also see Stan coming in for Nick as a 6th man.  As much as I like Stan, I really see him as a bench player with this group rather than a starter.  With Nick Z in with the starters, we have 3 capable 3 point shooters with Yogi and JBJ alongside him on the perimeter.

This is a very legitimate concern.... I guess I would hope we will get some minutes (even just a few) from the likes of Priller, April, & Hoetzel in games of need if we run into foul trouble with Hanner, DD, or even Holt...

If healthy??? But that seems like a pretty big if.... I feel like by the time he is healthy the chemistry wouldn't be there... I do like him though so I hope he sticks around and can contribute next season.

Yeah I think he just depends on health. Sounded like Crean really liked him last year before he went down, but we just haven't seen much of him. Especially against good competition.

Agree. Last year Colin was not flashy but he had some solid minutes. Hope he gets healthy so we can see what he brings to the table.

Hanner Mosquera-Perea
I don't know how likely this line-up is to happen. And as for a sixth man, I doubt there will be a real consistent one, similar to last year how it often varied.

Not many are selecting Hoetzel in the first 6....Does everyone see him as needing more strength and seasoning? He is certainly a shooter that can stretch the floor. And--I don't know about you--but every time I see a photo of him he looks tall--we could have a pair of 6'9'' 3 point shooters in him and Priller before long.

I think a lot of this comes from CTC's summer comments on the team.  It kind of came across that Max wasn't where he needed to be yet to contribute.  I think when you couple that with the fact that he didn't exactly set the world on fire in Canada, it has tempered people's expectations of him.

Watching him in Canada, he will be bottom of the rotation, but will get some minutes. Definitely not top 6.

It may take til January, but I could see Holt, Davis and Hanner splitting the 4/5 positions time. That's if Holt can come along like I think he can.

I like this lineup as it gives us more size and lets Troy play his natural position. I don't like the three guard because of lack of size in the post unless we plan to play super uptempo and press. Lots of unanswered questions and big minutes, points and rebounds that have to be accounted. If Hanner can stay out of foul trouble and play extended minutes which he has never done, this bodes well for the team.

I am changing my original prediction----I now think we start with Yogi--JBJ--Troy--Stan---and Hanner.  RoJo as 6th man.

I keep going back and forth between RoJo or Stan starting and now I think I will go with Stan. His experience and defense get him the start.  I predict the same line-up at the end of the season.

I'm going with the standard Yogi, JBJ, Troy Hanner, and then the 3rd guard spot I'm going to say Zeisloft at the beginning of the year with RoJo working his way in at some point.

I prefer Stan as a 6th man. He's so focused on scoring, that I think we need him in bursts but not long stretches. Basically sending him in for stretches and having go all out on both ends as a spark. I also think we have too many shooters/scorers, so I need to see him reign in the driving into 3 guys and throwing up a wild shot thing he does.

I l really think RoJo should come off the bench because having him and Yogi together could lead to foul trouble at the point where I think RoJo will have to play a lot of backup minutes.

   I'll go with Hanner,Troy Stan JBJ Yogi.with Stan RoJo and Z3 all getting about the same minutes.Devin and Hanner with almost equal minutes also.

Great analysis---BGleas and Woodson----I think Stan would be our best option at 6th man as he can score in bunches and that is who I originally picked----but I now think we are going to need his toughness, defense, and rebounding in the starting line-up. The downside to him starting is he is not as good of a shooter as RoJo or Z3.  Therefore, it truly is a crap shoot and unknown at this time.  I was looking for clues at Hysteria but did not see it clearly put together yet.
