The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Skowronek finished the season-opener with five receptions for 208 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Indiana got a chance to watch Skowronek at the RAS Camp hosted by AWP during the summer, and Kevin Wilson and the Hoosiers staff will continue watching the in-state talent closely this fall.

 

"That's where my recruitment took off," Skowronek said, adding that he's been keeping in touch with Indiana assistant Noah Joseph.

 

"I'm talking to them a lot," Skowronek said. "They're probably the school most interested."

 

Skowronek's older brother Matt is a red-shirt freshman safety in Bloomington, and he'll be at Indiana on Saturday attending the Hoosiers's season-opener.

 

"I have connections there and I know a lot of the players," Skowronek said.

 

The following week Skowronek says he'll visit Notre Dame for the Michigan game, and as the fall continues he plans to attend games at Ball State, Ohio, Michigan and Penn State.

 

"I'll probably go back to IU a couple times," he added.

As a junior, he caught 42 passes for 841 yards and 12 touchdowns. He emerged as a prospect to watch the year before with 38 receptions for 535 yards and five scores.

 

Miami (Ohio) has also offered Skowronek, who will visit Indiana on Sunday and Vanderbilt on February 21.
