I need some help HoosierNation.

Recommended Posts

My wife and I are trying to relocate from Denver to the Wilmington, Delaware area. (Short story is my wife is from NJ, has family there, and wants to be closer to them, but I don't want to live in NJ specifically). Anyway, I've been searching for about 6 weeks to find something in the Wilmington or even the Philadelphia area without luck. My resume is good, my LinkedIn profile is updated, etc. I fear companies are afraid to pull the trigger due to distance. I'm certainly not looking for a free move and am very open about that fact.

Please IM me If anyone has any leads on an HR position (specifically Compensation), or even better a recruiter they can recommend in that area my family would be forever grateful.

Thanks for any assist I can get! I mean, we are one big dysfunctionally happy family right?! :) Go Hoosiers!!!!!!!!! Sent from the can using BtownBanners

RE: Looking for work in Btown.

Bachelors in telecommunications and communications (IU)
Masters in Public Service Administration (U of Evansville)
I've done project/account coordination, project management, grant writing, expediting, supply chain work.
Working in Telecommunications currently - fiber optic networks and network communications on a national scale.
previously in construction supply - providing contractors with construction tools/supplies for large scale power plant builds.

If anyone knows of some good companies to look into or networking opportunities, please let me know!

(I wouldn't mind being martha the cleaning lady if it meant i'd be able to work with IU athletics lol, did janitor work at the IU dorms when I was a student there anyways, haha)

Thx man!! That's an hour plus commute into Balt. Haven't looked there due to commute time.

Maybe we can get together for a drink and a game after we settle. I'm always up for meeting fellow Hoosier Fans!!! :)
