OT: UK recruiting strategy - Join us or we are through with you.

Gonna be hard to leave 9 burger boys, but that sure is a lot of pressure to win. WWW keeps his work to a minimum. He won't leave unless trouble is approaching. A la his 2 previous coaching experiences.

UK and its exploits is case and point with what is wrong with NCAA ball. If Calipari leaves, someone else becomes NBA University. Doesn't make much difference.

UK fans talked nonstop crap about Calipari until he became their coach.

Then all of a sudden they love him.  Coming from a fan base that put for sale signs in the yard of the only clean coach they've had, for all the criticism Crean gets from some of our fans I don't think anyone has gone that far.

They did it to Kenny. He just took the joke REALLY far.

Don't give them any ideas. I'm sure there are a few that wouldn't find a thing wrong with it.

Cal has proved to be a great recruiter and smart coach (not a great coach). As much as I hate the slimey basturd, he understands how to let his players succeed without being an x's and o's type coach. Seems like Crean is working to emulate that model with the unscripted no passing drive the ball to the hole offense. I still believe that IU basketball should be disciplined hard nose ball with juniors and seniors leading the way. That will not happen with the program running off players and recruiting guys that will only play one or two years. We need to get back to Indiana basketball.

To be honest, after the tournament run and the Calipari Lakers rumor, I'm so done talking about UK. Literally do not care about them whatsoever. I pity people have to actually live in that state but that's about the extent of my caring about what they do down there

Quit reading the damn thread if you don't want to talk about it. No need to whine about something because it's not what you want to discuss.

It is, after all, an Indiana Basketball forum here.  Just about any topic would/could come back to how it relates to our program, staff, and players.  If we wanted to only talk about Cal and UK, might as well go to KSR forum
