Lets clear the air

Ok, I have been responding to numerous people about something at this point I think is pretty insignificant and is just getting blown up.  We had a poster sign up as Hoosier Hoopster.  Apparently he was vague in a post and people took that back to 247 and told the powers that be that someone signed up here and was saying he was him.  We got emails from CC asking us to have him change his name.  Nothing wrong with him asking us, since they were being told that.  We as mods looked through his posts and never found a post with him claiming he was HoosierHoopster from 247 (formerly HSN V1.0, formerly Scout).   

 

We responded to them we didn't think it was needed because he had never said that.  Every site has someone with that name.  Hell, we thought someone at 247 had tried signing up with a variation of that name when we were there.  It is common.  Tonight has kind of blown up and we kind of realized why they thought that.  Now, many of you taking issue with how we handle this have known us for years.  You know how we are as mods.  We feel he is trolling you for a response.  The same as some of you troll the negative posters for response.  We have warned this poster and will take action if we need to.  But, as many of you who have known us for years know we try and give posters on both sides of this equation a chance.  

 

I will leave this up here for a time so any of you have a question or concern about this situation you can post here.  I was getting PMs, quoted, and all sorts of craziness.  I just couldn't keep up.  I don't want to see posters who add something get banned over something as stupid as this.  If I have to post a picture of Jaybob flexing to break the ice I will lol.

football season is just around the corner...

right?

 

hey that reminds me...I'm planning on hitting up a few fb games this year...

this feels like the right time to plug the fb program...giggity

 

I can't wait for fb to get here.  Bowl bound this year.  Season (home) tix for football for anyone who is close is very reasonable.  I was thinking it was like $250 per.  That is not bad for that many games to get to B'town.

Thank you for clearing the air and your diligence and fairness. I never claimed to be anyone from the Indiana 247 site. Or any 247 site for that matter. I agree that this whole matter has gotten blown up way out of hand.

I am not a troll. I am a fan and was a student. I am not a fan of Crean, that is for sure. But I get, some of you want me to tone it down a bit. You have my word that I will.

Someone will say there is no picture of Tim taken with Middle School Bob which proves they are indeed the same person. Then someone else will claim he saw Tim with Middle School Bob at Taco Bell and Middle School Bob was fighting with a girl over a burrito. Middle School Bob will deny this on Twitter. The Reds will win the World Series.

You need to light a match. Make it one of those big long ones for fireplaces. Go ahead and light the entire box of them. Lots of foul air to be cleared in that last sentence. Coach Crean better be instituting a full Taco Bell ban for this team. Nothing good can come of it.
