It would be great if this was a misunderstanding. Even if it isn't, doesn't sound like a huge deal. But regardless. Let's just not.

"Once again, nothing has been confirmed or denied by the Bloomington Police Department. These are merely rumors, but multiple people claim to have seen some sort of incident involving Ferrell and Bloomington police early this morning. There is also the possibility that Ferrell was detained by police but never arrested, if such an incident ever occurred in the first place. In conclusion, there is nothing definitively confirming Ferrell's guilt or innocence in any alleged incident from Friday morning. There are only rumors at this point."

Well, here's the IDS article. Several people saw him and tweeted he was in handcuffs. Where's there's smoke...

At least don't lie about it Yogi.

Ok, someone is lying. Tell me, why do you say it's Yogi and not the tweeters?  I have no idea who's lying and who's not. Do you?

You're right. But I would tend to believe 4 random kids who were at the scene than Yogi just saying he was at home. What do they gain from all telling similar stories. I also checked, none of them follow each other.

This goes back to HS for me, which was a reaaaaaaaaaaallly long time ago, a friend (he was the local sports hero) and I were accused of being at a busted party. All sorts of people said we were there.  We were at his grandparents cottage fishing along with another friend. Of course we didn't end up in trouble like some of our classmates did over the deal because we weren't there.  Again, I don't know who's lying but until something comes out better than some kids on twitter I'm not going to say who's lying.

I might add, these were kids we'd known our entire lives (small towns, everyone knows everyone) who were saying we were at the party.

Not having a report "on record" doesn't mean nothing transpired. Whatever it was (or allegedly was) must not have been all that serious.

If the cops show up they make a report whether anyone was arrested or not. Names are taken and recorded.

Not if it happens to be an Indiana basketball player. I don't have any issue with him being handcuffed. I have been handcuffed when I have done nothing wrong. But something happened and it's not coincidence all of these people saw him doing something odd at Taco Bell
