We didn't recruit him when he decommitted from UCLA, why would we if he were to be available again?  Besides we have Collin Hartman 2.0 in the wings, who needs a 6'5 scoring wing with NBA range.

Bluiett would make me smile. That would be such a great addition. We are talking a standout 4 year guy. I would love to see yogi, blackmon, bluiett together. With Rojo and Stan. That would be an incredible 5. Play TW/Davis at 4 and Hanner/TBD. That back court would be scary good for 2-3 years.

After all that...

Never gonna happen.

Everything I've heard is bluiett wants to be THE guy and he knows he won't be that at iu.. That's why iu never truly went full court with him

I never got the impression that Bluiett every wanted to be a Hoosier. We maxed out the visits with him. It would be a nice addition at this time.

Would be nice to get one of Xavier's players. They have been "IU" Southeast for quite some time including Holloway (Sampson commit), Crawford, Abell.

Maybe Bluiett didn't like our roster being stacked with wings previously? That's certainly not an issue now after all the transfers. Plenty of PT available.

For what it's worth, this is the story a coach of a sport at Park Tudor (won't mention it for his sake) said about Blueitt. Izzo recruited this kid HARD. He was at Park Tudor more than any coach including Crean. Blueitt had basically told his family, his teammates, and Izzo that he was a Spartan. Izzo continued to return to Indy time and time again for this kid. Out of the blue, he announces Xavier. This is after de-commiting from UCLA as well. It doesn't sound to me that this kid knows what he wants. If I were to make an assumption, he wanted some scratch from a booster. Not one person at Park Tudor even heard him mention Xavier more than he was slightly interested way early on. Take from this what you will.
