Eron Harris to MSU

When I think about it, which isn't often, I look at the address bar to see which thread it is.

Per CBS: "Harris, a 6-foot-3 guard from Indianapolis, averaged 17.2 points and 3.5 rebounds this past season for the Mountaineers. He shot 42.2 percent from 3-point range. Harris put up at least 20 points in 11 games, but was slightly inconsistent down the stretch."

He definately has the toughness that no one except Sheehey had on our team this year. Next year we need an identity and mean and nasty would be one I would accept. I would be so pissed off at this year and take it out on every team we played.

Not sure if you've noticed, but not counting next year's freshmen, we have 7 players right now. He'll do.

Eron would most likely have to sit out a year before playing. Blackmon may bolt after one depending on how this year goes.. Crean needs to put the full court press on him NOW.

I think he would be a good add-on too, even if he has to sit a year.  Yogi and Blackmon are both candidates to be pro players.  This guy is a proven shooter and player.  Makes sense to me. 

 

Get Lee and Maten/Cunningham and Eron Harris.

2. Blackmon/Robinson

3. TW/(Cunningham)/Hartman

4. Davis/Hoetzel (Maten)

5. Lee/Perea/Jurkin

 

 

We would be okay with 12 scholarship players and Eron Harris sitting a year.  Lots of minutes to Yogi, Blackmon, Robison, TW, ROJO, AntLee, Davis, and Perea.

Looking back:

We didnt get AntLee and Maten and Cunningham looks like a long shot. So now I say: Trevor Thompson, Moses/Cunningham/Willie Atwood, and Eron Harris.

Is there a school year proscribed delay in his search for a new school? If so, when does the moratorium lift?

Semester ends this week. After that, he's released from his scholarship and we'll start seeing some info.

Pretty sure he's not actually allowed to speak directly to other coaches until he's released from WVU, which happens when semester ends like Hovadipo said. I think all recruiting so far (if any) has gone through HS/AAU coaches and parents.

Eron supposedly wants to come back home and IU has a scholarship open. I'd say the Hoosiers have a great shot.

Literally, Purdue, IU, and Butler will all be in the running for him. We will just have to wait and see now it develops over the next few weeks.

This has been my rallying cry all along. Now, lets see if it comes to fruition. Gotta hope for the waiver! 3 guard lineup with 2 subs.

We wouldn't NEED a guard in 2015 if we had these guys. Maybe 1 goes pro (yogi or blackmon) bring the other 4 back.
