5th Year Transfers

Recommended Posts

With Vonleh all but gone to the NBA, are there any 5th year transfers we should keep an eye on? I would think that if you were a big man with one more year of eligibility left, IU would be close to the top of preferred destinations.

Also, while we are on the topic of 5th years,I thought this was pretty interesting. Mo Creek left IU for GWU and I bet he never thought he would be making the NCAA Tournament and not his old teammates here at IU. Evan Gordon came from ASU, who made the NCAA Tournament. These 2 things can't help the mindset of other guys thinking about coming in for their last year of college basketball.

Just posted this in another thread. Anthony Lee of Temple is looking for a major conference school where he can contribute right away. He averaged 13.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg. Great shot blocker too.

I saw on Twitter that he was looking to transfer. I didn't know if he was a big guy or not. I don't remember but how did he do against IU last year in the tournament?

I don't remember him. Anyone have any thoughts on if he might fit into Crean's offense?

He would fit in that he can grab offensive rebounds. Other than that, what I've seen of him, he can hit perimeter jumpers and is a good driver to the hoop. I think he'd fit quite well.

Remember it like it was yesterday, I was sitting in a beach side bar watching IU in the NCAA Tournament. Now, i'm just sitting at a beach side bar[/quote]

I was in Dayton for that. He did the same thing to NC State the day before. I actually think he scored the same number in both games. Epitomy of old man game.

I can't believe how bad Zelller was getting bodied inside. Just threw up weak stuff all game.
