The King Salmon run will start late next month!!! Boom!!! of course, they don't get the really big ones until late June- Early July.

Suck it flatlanders!

BTW AH, the boys are hitting it hard in NWI for salmonoids.

That right there is what I would toss for walleye around me.

It's a lighter lure, just 3/16 oz, but I've caught 8 lb bass with it

You Eskimos don't know what yer missing.  Fishing is a year round thing!

My daughter has taken to throwing duck food in the lake to see the ducks go mad over it.  It's actually chummed the water off my seawall really nicely.  Now I have catfish galore.  It ain't cheating if I'm not the one chumming, right?

That’s a damn big fish to have caught in your swimming pool.

Even more impressive because you’ve got a cage on the pool deck.

If I want my wife to take a picture before I throw it back, I know where to find her.  Not pictured: the pool fridge full of White Claw next to her

Has the tundra thawed enough for you land lubbers to start fishing yet?

Fishing season is finally here! the long winter has pushed the seasons back a bit and the King (chinook) and Red (Sockeye) are starting their runs late. should be heading out in a couple of weeks to catch them as they move up the rivers. boom!!!

Quick question @ALASKA HOOSIER,

Do you ever fish for halibut?  I got a cousin that is trying to talk me into taking a trip up there to fish for them.
