I do like how they're showing the build up to the infection instead of how they did the walking dead. Rick was in a coma then he wakes up and wham it already happened.

To me, this was a very good episode. A lot of suspense the entire episode, esp the school scene. I thought the kid for sure was going to get bit or sacrifice himself for the mom. Felt they ended it weird, but my only little nitpick.

Agree completely. Hard to compete with the Walking Dead, but I really like the way they are taking it.

Finally was able to watch the episode. I think Travis' ex or the barber's wife will be the first to go. I liked the episode, and each episode keeps building nicely. 

 

The barber's daughter, lead actress, and her daughter are very nice on the eyes. Still not close to Maggie status of course ;)

Well, i was thinking the wife but.....now, she has medical support to keep her alive (military). I think it will be the barber since he has taken a role of knowing TOO much. It will probably be trying to protect his family. shot by the army. By the way, what's the deal with the army taking a headshot on Susan with a civilian 5 inches away~ unrealistic as all get out

I agree, but their goal is to limit the spread as quickly as possible. In this situations, it would be better to take a chance instead of anything else becoming contaminated by him getting bit.

My wife isn't a big fan of this season, but she did like Sunday's episode. I think each one nicely builds off each other. Very intrigued for this weeks episode.

Did anyone else notice the plane make a weird side dip motion and quickly go back the other way?

I read somewhere that the plane has a central part in a webseries. There is a person on that plane that will show up in season 2 (read below).

 

"The web series is set on an airplane during the time period explored in “Fear the Walking Dead,” prior to the collapse of society. It will center around a group of people who must face a walker attack while the plane is in mid-flight. One character who survives the zombie encounter will then join season two of “Fear,” which will continue to explore what happened to humanity in the weeks before Rick Grimes woke from his coma in the first episode of “The Walking Dead.”

Just watched this week's episode, man this is good stuff. Really enjoying this series, just gets better each week. I agree with ALASKA that the barber knows too much and I'm guessing he'll be the first to go.

While I agree about the barber going first, I disagree about the shot taken. Her husband was just inches away from being bitten, the shot had to be taken there or he was dead regardless. It was a good shot, and imo it had to be taken.

Yeah I agree she is a tough cookie, unfortunately Travis is a big softie. Gonna have to toughen up quick or he's going to get himself or someone else killed.

And to add onto this, that anti-gun comment by Travis makes me want him to be the first to go. And what is with this whole "keeping score" thing between him and the barber? It's the freakin apocalypse people!! You help each other out, survive, there is no score.
