Official Illinois at Indiana Game thread

Illinois is a bad team.  If we had rightly beaten them in Champaign, they would be toiling with Nebraska and Penn State for the glory of 12th place in the Big Ten.  They can't hit the broad side of a barn.  Yet we are only up two points at halftime.  I am feeling nervous about this one.  Noah only has one field goal.  Get him the ball.  Feed the beast!  Illinois has NOBODY that can guard him.  We found that out in the first game.  We need to get him the ball otherwise this game is going to be way too interesting down the stretch.

I think you were taking the first comment too seriously. Completely different games, it was just a joke since they can actually shoot the ball and the men's team cannot.

I love our decision to face guard Rice....Would love to see him pick up foul number 3 early in the 2nd half too.

A bit ugly, but this team seems to be able to compete when the just mix it up and make it ugly. Good halves from Stan, AE, and Vonleh. Solid play from Troy and Howard. Hollowell still has a faraway look on his face, but he's battling in there today. Wish we could get something out of Yogi or Gordon. And Will.

Yogi done has 4 assists and only two turnovers. And isn't just coming down and chucking shots after practicing his dribbling for 20 seconds so far. So it has been an improvement from what we have seen this year

Yeah.  One too many personal posts.  Well, ten too many.  We try not being pricks.  We all have lives outside of here.  We all want to watch the games in peace.  We are all IU fans.  We don't mind the bitching about the team in general.  Our team is not very good.  The personal posts about players won't happen.  Chuck can be alright when he isn't posting emotional.  I used to be the same way.  Sometimes you have to look at what you write and question what it really adds.  I do it all of the time.  Not everything is roses.  Especially this team.  But, if the best you can bring to this board is personal comments that take away from our environment, that person won't last.

Ya I totally agree. He was common on ESPN boards last year before they moved to Facebook and he wasn't too bad of a guy but then again last years squad was awesome and there really wasn't anything to cry wolf about.
