The whole DaVinci Code series is very enjoyable, I've read all three.  Frankly I enjoyed the books more than the movies, especially Inferno.

These books >>>>>>>>>>>>>>these movies

That has a tendency to be true, although with directors giving their view of the story it can make the movies interesting in their own right.  I enjoyed The DaVinci Code and to a lesser extent Angels & Demons, not so much Inferno, just not as much as the books; to be fair, I didn't like the Inferno novel as much.

Same is true with the I Am Number Four series, the book is far better than the movie although I didn't think the movie was too bad.  I haven't finished that series though, and not sure if I will not because I don't like them but because I haven't seen them in stores and don't care enough to order.

I've started reading the John Puller series of books by David Baldacci.    Puller is an Army investigator but not nearly as violent as Jack Reacher or Mitch Rapp.   Baldacci has published several other series of books one featuring characters King & Maxwell who made it to either USA Network or TNT for one season.

I read some of the early Mitch Rapp novels, but for some reason, stopped. I mainly started reading them because I lived in Minnesota for a while and Vince Flynn was a Minnesotan. I'm curious to know what fans of the series think since the new guy took over after Flynn died ...

I read one of the Puller books, The Forgotten Ones (?), it wasn't bad but felt too much like a Reacher rip off for me to get real invested in that series.

More in the sports genre, I read Let's Go to the Videotape by Warner Wolfe.  That was definitely an entertaining read.  In the same genre, I'd like to read The Last Boy about Mickey Mantle or Game Day/Jeter Unfiltered by Derek Jeter.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Johnny Cash autobiography, Cash.

The Mitch Rapp series is great. I just finished "Enemy of the State." Kyle Mills does a solid job filling in for Vince Flynn. You can tell the difference in writing styles with Mills not holding back on language as much.

I've finished both the Mitch Rapp and Pike Logan (Brad Taylor) series. It took a few books in the Rapp series to really appreciate it like I did the Pike Logan series.

I'm going to read the last book in the "After" series before starting on another spy genre series. If you haven't read the "After" series it gives good insight to what the world would be like after an EPM attack.

Has anyone read the "Killing" series by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard? I just started "Killing the Rising Sun" and it's fantastic.

I've read Killing Jesus, Lincoln, and Kennedy (3 separate books obviously). Very well written fact oriented books. Recommend them all.

I've read all of the Puller books. I liked them. Never read the Reacher series but by name alone you can see the similarities.

Thanks. I'm really liking the "Killing the Rising Sun." I've learned so much in the first few chapters.

Finished it. Great read and highly recommend to anyone halfway interested in the pacific theater during WWII.

Just started reading "The Final Day" in the "After" series. Great start to the last book.

Finished "The Final Day" and starting on "Killing England."

The Final Day was much better than the second book in the series, One Year After. Interesting story to get the point across that an EMP, or any attack that knocks our grid offline, could send this country back to the Stone Age.

I have everyone of his books. None of them ever disappointed me. I loved everyone. By far though, is his first novel, Term Limits. It's in my top 3 of all time. It's also his only book without Mitch Rapp.
