Since telling the person does no good I'd start with a temp banning. If that does no good it would be permanent. Sorry, I can see no excuse for that behavior or allowing it. I'm not real high on the team either but I'm not going to go screaming that some kid is a worthless pos and has no business being on the team, etc. These are kids out there, not adults. Talented as all get out but still just kids. They do not deserve that kind of treatment and the fellow posters should not have to deal with it. Hell, not many adults deserve it either.

It's extremely disrespectful to the kids and to the fellow poster who have to see it nonstop.
Non reason to get upset or offended. Being realistic goes both ways. We are a young team. We will win games we shouldn't and get blown out when we shouldn't. It's no big shakes. That's how young teams operate. Some have a pie-in-the-sky viewpoint which is fine. Others have a doom-and-gloom mindset which is also ok. The point is everyone is entitled to an opinion. There's no right or wrong one. They're like Jaybobs, everyone has them! Lol. :) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
See I don't mind people having different opinions. My opinions often differ from the norm. My only complaint is when we lose to good teams people carrying on how awful our team is and we'll never make the tourney in every post. I don't mind if people think that way. I think it's a pretty sad way to think but I can't change it. it's just when people post over and over doing nothing but complaining about the same thing. We are a young team if anyone expected us to set the world on fire they are pretty clueless. Our team is doing what most reasonable people expected so I just think the "panic button" or the "world is ending" posts are not only premature but rather ignorant. Again if something I said doesn't pertain to you then don't get your panties in a twist defending yourself. If you didn't say it then my post isn't directed towards you. "Again if something I said doesn't pertain to you then don't get your panties in a twist defending yourself."

The funny thing is, some of who think differently of the situation than yourself are thinking the same exact thing towards you.  So, if we are going to be real, it boils down to your opinion differing from mine.  So please, feel free to take your own advise and not get so bent out of shape over things people post.  If you guys are going to lay your opinion out there of how it is going to be, then so am I.  We are big boys.  People can have an opinion.  Some may have doom and gloom.  Some may be roses.  I agree with Hwy1 there doesn't need to be any of the players suck posts and all of that, and I have said as much in past games.  Unfortunately, I had to work over on Saturday and missed the game.  So, the idea that people can't have an opinion if they want of the panic button or the world is ending is rather ignorant in my opinion.  People can think whatever they want as long as they are not bashing the players.  That will stop.  I agree with Hwy1 there.

I'm not bent out of shape in the least but along with the panic usually comes with talking about how this player sucks or that one does. My opinion on the subject is pretty spot on with hwy1 for the most part. My big issues is you getting defensive and complaining over a post I made that had absolutely nothing to do with you. You wasted a whole post saying how you did or didn't say something when my post had absolutely nothing to do with you. Again I have no problem with different opinions but if you actually read most posts people freak out like I said and then it's usually followed by player bashing. Quite frankly I have no idea what point you're even trying to make with me but it's not been a good one. I'm pretty right on par with Hwy1 on this issue but we word it differently but for some reason I seem to have struck a nerve that hurt your feelings. Don't be so sensitive. Too many people on here are either drinking too much of the kool-aid or they don't think this team is capable of anything. What happened to watching and enjoying the basketball games? It seems too many people have lost that perspective.

Anywho to actually look at that bracketology IU could actually be sitting pretty if this was the actual bracket if they got by Ok State. Probable virtual home game in a rematch with UCONN in the S16.

Let me say this again, and hopefully this sinks in.  Don't tell me what is or isn't my business on this board.  I am a mod.  This board is my business.  Beyond that, if you have a problem with me let me know.  If you want to talk basketball, I would gladly take you up on that.

If that is the way it played out, I wouldn't mind that bracket.  We have the bigger wings who could put a body on Smart.  We would be dangerous.

I feel like OK State is an overall title favorite because nobody can stop Smart. It would come down to limiting the guys around him, because he will get his when it matters.

I could see that.  I just don't think they are as well rounded of a team as a MSU when they get it together.  Izzo's teams always have that brutal schedule where they start slow, and then pour it on.  I like them.  I like Florida when they get it together.  Also, Duke will be there I feel.  But like you said with Smart, nobody can stop that dude when he gets it going.  That alone puts them there.

It's kind of like the Kemba UConn title team. An unbelievably talented guy surrounded by people who are inconsistent, but would start anywhere else in the country because of their upside (Nash and Markel Brown). All those other teams you mentioned are there too, though. This will definitely be another fun tourney.

My Dukies are only gonna be there if we start playin some defense. We can score with anyone in nation but are going to get toasted in the tourney by a team with super athletic guards if we can't figure out how to stop the dribble drive. Frustrating to watch at times coming from a program that's always been known for defense.

This tournament is going to be really good.  Seems like quite a few teams should be in a good position dependent on draw.  Like last year it wouldn't have mattered where Louisville was.  Don't think many teams scared them going into the tourney as hot as they were.  I got to go to that Sweet 16 and Elite 8 in Indy last year.  The fans really new they had a Championship team.  Can't imagine seeing a team in the Sweet 16 this year that feels the same.
