Not sure if it registered or not, but the last of the penalties from the Kelvin Sampson saga, Sampson's show-cause, expired this weekend.

 

 

Words can not be written on here to describe my thoughts about what that man did to IU.

I attended a basketball camp at IU the summer between my sophomore and junior years of high school. Got to play against the likes of Ray McCallum and other D1recruits. And Sampson preached to us all 5 days of camp, the importance of honesty in life and your loyalty to friends, family, coaches, and teammates. And how integrity was a key value to good relationships no matter what it was. He even told us this while the members of the 2007-2008 team where with us. (Eric Gordon, DJ White, Armon Bassett, Jamarcus Ellis and so on) I've always wondered how it affected the kids I was there with then and how it affected them as we all made college decisions. He ruined a lot of kids and brought a bad image over Indiana university and Indiana basketball. I truly hope he never steps foot in an NCAA program again.
