Official Indiana vs Washington Game Thread

Game set to tip at 9:00pm ET which will make it a late one! I'm excited to see what this team can do outside the friendly confines of Assembly Hall. It will also be nice to play a team I've heard of before! Go Hoosiers!

Really excited about this game. Haven't seen Washington play, but from what I read on Inside the Hall this morning, they like to get up and down like we do. Though I haven't seen UW play, I did watch quite a bit of their PG, Nigel Williams-Goss (sp?) in high school in all star games and some games when he was with Stan at Findlay Prep. This guy is the real deal, and if I remember correctly he should have a couple inches on Yogi. That will be the matchup I look at. Noah should dominate against their lack of frontcourt and hopefully Will can shut down their outside scorer, whose name escaped me. HOOHOOHOO

Can't wait! Feels like forever since the last game, and there was only one Pacers game inbetween IU games to watch.

If we dominate the frontcourt and shake the FT problem from the Stony Brook game, I can see us distancing ourselves early on and getting some rest for the key players before the championship game tomorrow. Hoping for a huge victory before possibly our first game against a ranked team this year.

I don't really know why, but I've been really really excited for tonight's game.  Could be not having the Hoosiers for the past couple days, or the fact we are on the road against an opponent people recognize...  Who cares, just excited to see what this team does on the road.  Will be interesting to see how the freshman handle.

Did it get changed? Both the IU site and Indy Star say 9:00pm.

I'm assuming it won't start at 9 as scheduled. The first game will get over around then and 20-30 mins for IU and wash to warm up.

I really hope the refs aren't going to freak out over the slightest bit of contact like they've been prone to do so far this year. I'll be asleep a few minutes into the second half if they turn it into a free throw shooting contest.
