The Official Btown Banners Beer Thread!

I know Dragonfly and Upland Wheat can be found in Southern Indiana too, I've seen them around. The others I haven't seen, but I don't frequent liquor stores and the only ones close pretty much just carry mainstream **** water.

I have pleeenty of liquor stores here to choose from. I'll start exploring the beer sections a little more.

Absolutely Im 100 percent on board if it's expensive I drink it straight but if it's 7-10 bux for a fifth I mix it

I've only had to chase whiskey once, and that stuff was especially disgusting.  I won't even give that crap the honor of mentioning the name.

I haven't tried Jameson or Seagrams though, Jack Daniels is about as expensive as I've tried.

I won't even get into the specifics because it's a lot, but Jameson is a great Irish whiskey take my word for it

All great suggestions in this thread! There are beers from really sweet (lambics) to uber hoppy/bitter to rich and malty. Sahara Mart on 3rd has a HUGE selection of single beers.

Not saying Ive ever tried them but I heard No Coast Reserve, that new restaurant in Btown on the east side over by Best Buy, has a lot of great craft brews you cant find most places. Cant remember the names but they've got really unique tastes. So Ive heard I mean.

I may or may not be biased cause that may or may not be my older brothers restaurant.

I managed to have the nastiest BloodyMary of my life last night. Also had a screwdriver that didn't taste like it has any alcohol in it. Went drinking with some friends from work. Both of them were like, "We aren't paying for these BloodyMary's, they clearly aren't made right." It was weird, they were really salty and tasted like they were overpowered with hot sauce

That's kinda sad, it's pretty tough to screw up a Bloody Mary!

Very delicious Vanilla Porter. Can't drink more than one or two of these at a time. Awesome malt after taste.
