The Official Btown Banners Beer Thread!

Recommended Posts

Tried two new ones last night. Two Brothers beer was great! Very smooth beer with a nice mild hop taste and a little orange flavor (had a little orange flavor to me.). The second was the Kona Coffee, and it was not good lol. It was a malt beer, but was very bitter. It was a combination of a porter and coffee, just didn't work for me.

Its not beer, but its kind of related. I finally found a bottle of Jameson Caskmates; Jameson that allegedly was aged in stout barrels.
It tastes similar to a car bomb if it were equal parts stout and whiskey.

Had that the other day. Excellent. Nice and smooth.

Update us on the brewery expansion. Can't wait until they get that done and pump out more of their amazing brews!

Brewery was closed for Halloween so we just got to check out the brewpub which was awesome! Definitely will be back. Great food, beer, service.

Not that I'm an expert, but if you're gonna make a Best in America list, you should venture further than a 90 minute drive from your house.

Vermont's a nice place at times, but I'm sure its not the unofficial home of beer.

True. But I'm willing to give any list like that a shot. I will have to try to pick up the Goose Island one. Used to love their Oatmeal Stout and Nut Brown Ale. And if all else fails, time to take a road trip to Vermont.
