Brewed my own today. 2 weeks to ferment until it goes in the keg. Should be right in time for the NCAA tournament.

What are you brewing? I've got a DIPA with Centennial, Falconers Flight and and Fuggle hops- should come in around 10.2%

Pale Ale, should come in at 4.5%, very sessionable. I used CTZ, Centennial, Amarillo, and Simcoe. Given all that, should not be overly hoppy.

Not a bad Pale Ale. Not my favorite, but not bad. I drink a couple for sure lol. Typical Pale Ale from what I've tried. Schlafly Pale Ale is still my favorite of the Pale Ales.

Just saw that big red's has their own beer the other day. Has anyone given it a try? I mean for that price, I don't expect anything amazing but it could be a good cheap beer like PBR.

Haven't tried it, but that's interesting. Curious how it tastes.

I'll try to remember to get a label pic later, but my friend who owns a restaurant told me about Undercover Investigation Shut Down from Lagunitas. It was a little pricey at $11 per 6 pack, but a really great brew. It's an American Strong Ale, 9.3% ABV. Not as hoppy as most that I like, more malty. If you like a barley wine, you'll like this. Best new beer I've had in a long time

Since I was on a Lagunitas kick (I am about 50/50 on their stuff), I tried their cappuccino stout on the way home from work- pretty tasty.  Big flavor but finishes crisp.  Not as heavy as some stouts/porters.
