#Louisville is now the @247CrystalBall leader for DB Mykelti Williams after I predicted the #Cardinals first this AM: http://247sports.com/Bolt/Louisville-Swing-On-The-Crystal-Ball-For-Mykelti-Williams-29631327

Williams is set to visit Louisville on Friday. Other schools Williams is high on includes Ole Miss, Illinois, Purdue and Wisconsin. The Rebels were the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite for Williams before Tuesday. Michigan State and Ohio State are two offers that could change everything.

‏@SWiltfong247: Indianapolis Warren Central DB Mykelti Williams is my top Hoosier State performer in week one: http://247sports.com/Article/Mykelti-Williams-Leads-Warren-Central-Past-Center-Grove-12-9-30532981 … #IUFB #Louisville

Playing in what most would consider the state's biggest game of the opening weekend as two 6-A (Indiana’s largest class) heavyweights took the field, the 6-foot, 198-pound Williams scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime while also registering roughly 14 tackles and intercepting a pass on the first play from scrimmage.

Rated by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 42 safety, Williams continues to say that Louisville, Ole Miss and Wisconsin will get official visits. This coming weekend he may visit Indiana for the Hoosiers season-opener on Saturday.

Williams, a three-star prospect and ranked No. 9 in the state in his class by 247sports.com, said he is still "open" in the recruiting process though there are a few schools that are standing out.

"Louisville is one of the schools I'm liking right now and definitely Ole Miss and (Indiana)," he said.

Williams had tentatively planned to visit Louisville last weekend, but is going to reschedule. Indiana has also apparently made an impression on Williams, who also has offers from Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Wisconsin and others.

"Coach (Kevin) Wilson and his staff are recruiting me very hard," he said. "I like and appreciate that. They've showed me a lot love."
