You believe it grazed off the Croatian player?  Zero change on ball rotation.  Watched slow mo zooms from 2 different angles and the rotation didn’t change at all.

just a crappy way to go out.

either team is probably food for Spain and this matchup is great just hard not to feel shorted from the Croatian side.

Ok, NOW I’m into the World Cup.

Country smaller and with less people than Rhode Island.

Argentinian National Team has won ten straight international matches.

Overtime for the biggest knockout round underdog in World Cup history — #67 vs #1.

Survived multiple Messi free kicks from the back third in the last ten minutes of regulation.

Well, this turned out to be a lie. With the game still 1 all I found the San Antonio-Miami Summer League game and that was that.

Incredible matchup and effort from Cape Verde.  Sensational game.

The Cape Verde player was absolutely fouled on the edge of the box in the waning minutes. I think he was outside the box and fell into the box.  The broadcast never replayed the play.  Social meds did and it was a blatant trip.  Anyway, the better team won and it was an extremely entertaining match.

I missed that when it happened—yes, that was real and a damn shame.

France and Argentina with the easier paths for a rematch.  USA with what I think might be the toughest path.  Brazil vs Mexico (IF)will be incredible.

Current odds say England vs. Brazil in the quarters. Other than any U.S. match -- that might be the one I'm most looking forward to. If it happens, of course.

Right now, FIFA has England ranked No. 4 and Brazil fifth.

Before the tournament, they were 4 (England) and 6 (Brazil).

Yeah, Mexico is gonna be tough to beat with that home atmosphere.  That game could be special.
