A little offseason discussion, what would your all-IUFB team be for players from 2000-present? Some of these are pretty obvious, but here’s mine (using the AP All-American roster format):

DL - Greg Middleton

LB - Aiden Fisher

LB - Micah McFadden

CB - Tracy Porter

S - Louis Moore

5 Honorable Mention Offense - Antwaan Randle El, Charlie Becker, Courtney Roby, Kurtis Rourke, Levron Williams

5 Honorable Mention Defense (this was a little harder to come up with, but these guys were all memorable to me) - Matt Mayberry, Isaiah Jones, Marcelino Ball (when healthy), Darius Latham, Tiawan Mullen

Last season was 99 so wouldn't meet the 21st century criterion.

Of this entire list, the pick I love the most is Riley Nowakowski at TE.

That dude was an unsung hero and as a Colts' fan, I want him on my team for the next decade.  Lot of people would have overlooked him.  Kudos.

Hard for me to put Jordan Howard over Levron Williams in any scenario.   Williams in 2001 has 1890 yards from scrimmage and 19 TD's.  He was also a 4 year player at IU in one of the most explosive offenses in the country.  Howard had ~ 1300 yards from scrimmage in his one year at IU.  Certainly good, but I can't put him ahead of Williams.

I gotta' have Kaelon Black as honorable mention, too.  Leave alone his running ability and I get he was part of a platoon, but that guy was the best blocking RB I think I've seen at Indiana since Anthony Thompson.

That’s fair. Levron’s productivity gets overshadowed by Randel El’s running ability and not playing in the NFL, whereas Howard was second in rushing yards his rookie season. I also forget that Howard only played 9 games for us. He was a workhorse though in the short time he was here.

An honorable mention, kinda, or maybe just a personal favorite - LB Marcus Oliver.

2 time captain. IU's all time leader in forced fumbles (12). Unfortunately he skipped his last year of eligibility and didn't do anything in the NFL, but he was a fun player and good dude.

I don't see 3 QB listed?  Too much herb I suppose but Nate gets an honorable mention on my list.
