AAU teammate of Cameron Williams.

[Class of '66 Old Fart]

'27 Bruce Branch plays AAU for Compton Magic 17U on the 3SSB circuit and is a teammate of '26 Cameron Williams.  He attends Perry HS in Gilbert, AZ which is Koa Peat's former high school.  He was offered by WVU while DDV was head coach.  He was invited to the 2025 USA Men's Junior National Team April minicamp in San Antonio.

With 2 offers out to Compton Magic teammates, Raby reported that Clark and Adams both have been close to the founder of the Compton program as well as the current coaches so this wasn't just throw a couple of offers out just to say we did.  We have real connections to this program.

Bit of follow-up from Raby.  The re-class was not any surprise in the world of recruiting.  Arizona the presumed leader.  KJ did visit Prolific Prep earlier and we have the connection via Branch's AAU team Compton Magic.  Having said that, still probably a pretty long shot that he would land at IU if we make a hard run and unknown at this time if we even make a hard run.

Would be curious to know how Branch’s deal stacks up to Dybantsa’s. He’s a hell of an athlete with a ton of projectability, but he’s not nearly the scorer that Dybantsa is. He’s not gonna be ready to be the 1st option on team with final 4 aspirations.

Yeah, lost their 2nd best player.  They aren’t great, but that hurt them.
