Alexis is a depth piece, for sure. Let's hope Kenny can really develop him!

This is partly why the Alexis signing is interesting to me. Apparently he's had a higher offreb rate in his career than TJD, Ware or Ballo. 

One of the best 3's you can shoot is the kickout 3 from an offensive rebound. If Alexis can translate that to IU, it will be a big asset.

While that may be correct, Alexis missed the last 7 regular season games because of an ankle injury.  And then suffered another ankle injury just before the SEC Tournament. 

He suffered the injury at Mississippi State on Feb. 11 and had his left foot in a walking boot. Golden said Alexis returned to practice on March 3 and was progressing well... per  Sam Alexis injury update: When will the Florida forward be back?

So much length already(not height) that they will get backside help blocks. This bunch looks speedy too. The opposing team better get back on defense. 

He’s not bad in spurts, but there’s no way he can be your only defensive oriented player in the front court next season. What if he’s only good for 10-15 mpg or god forbid he gets hurt again? Need a rim protector who you can rely on for ~20 mpg, and if it cuts into Reed’s minutes, so be it.
