You never know about highlight reels, which can make anyone look like a superstar, but she seems to have outstanding athletic ability, long-distance shooting, and great timing:

If we can get IU to only play in three on three leagues against young Eastern European 5'7" girls she'll be fantastic.

As a freshman she shot 31% fg, 26% 3pt, 52% ft, with more turnovers than assists.

So while she may be talented, but there's significant work for her to do to be a winning player.

No doubt. Just hoping for a "sleeper" who surprises everyone (in her last game at Arkansas, didn't Phoenix get 23 points and hit five 3's against Texas A&M?). IU brought in 2 European players in Garzon & Sandvik. Garzon ends up all-Big 10 and best 3-point shooter ever . . . and Sandvik barely gets PT, and transfers. Who would have bet $1,000 on that outcome?

Yeah, why not? Wasn't Zach Edey a 3-star recruit? Peyton Manning vs. Ryan Leaf. It goes on. Some people step up and improve, and others don't.

Good background on Phoenix from The Daily Hoosier.  One paragraph in particular stuck out to me.

Stotijn also talked to some of those IU players who entered the portal, to get their perspective while feeling everything out about the program. She said none of those outbound transfers said anything bad about Indiana, and none left on bad terms. Stotijn also connected with Lenée Beaumont, who she said was also open about Indiana’s future and helped her feel comfortable.

Highlights look like 18 points per game.  Listed at 5’9” (maybe grew an inch) At Ark 25 minutes per game;  7.2 points per game, 31.7% fgs, 52% fts, 26% 3 ball.  (Solid all around floor floor game though)

However playing for the Netherlands listed at 5’8”statistically was somewhat better and even some highlights on scoring double figures and 3 ball.
