Which IUWBB shows up?  The one that bounced back from losses to Harvard and Butler to knock off a ranked Stanford team and a ranked Baylor team or the one that got waxed by UNC?  Maine (3-4) has only scored more than 60 in 2 of its 7 games.  Its first was a season opening 65-51 win over La Salle U and its second was its most recent game an 87-75 win over Stonehill.  After this game we host Southern Indiana on Wednesday and then open B1G play on the 7th at Penn State.

A nearly 5 min. IU drought in 2nd Q and Maine won't go away.  33-26 with 2:23 left in the half.

Hoosiers with a 36-28 halftime lead.   We've made 7-13 3s and Chloe is 3-3 and leads the scoring with 15 pts. and hasn't missed a FG attempt.  Yarden has 9 and Jules and Karoline each with 5.   Not doing a good job on the boards as Maine has outrebounded us 16-12 and has 6 offensive boards.    Nobody with more than 1 foul for IU; Maine has 2 players with 2.

Jules playing very well in Syd's place.  8 pt. on 3-4 FG and 2-2 on 3s and 2 blks.  No TO and no fouls.

In the first 4:29 in the 3rd, we've stretched our lead from 8 to 19 pts. and jumped out to a 51-32 lead.  Lilly's been on fire in the 3rd (9 pts.) and we're really moving the ball with 17 assists on 20 made FGs

Up 20 now. Would like to see this continue and not have any more long scoring droughts.

3rd Q was all Hoosiers and we lead 61-41.

Ciezki only 1-6 FG but she has 6 of our 19 assists.  Everyone playing well and especially Chloe who's been in a bit of a funk.  She has 20 pts. on 7-8 FG; 4-4 on 3s; 4r; 3a; 2s; 1b.  Lilly  now with 16 pts; 5r; 2b.

J.L. Sturdy and strength has some good upside as she gets more comfortable against what will be much higher level competition.

Lilly needs to play more confidently demanding with aggression against what will be much higher level competition.

Barring no setbacks Syd out for a couple more weeks and without another setback should be above 75% mid to late December and full strength during January, 2025…no more injuries needed for Syd to finish her college basketball career.

Post game per T. Moren:  Lenee Beaumont to have knee procedure in a couple weeks.  (Kinda wonder why it’s taking til mid December).  Wondering if it will be a red shirt year vs trying to play later in season?

Southern Indiana only loss to Louisville by 24.  Record 7 wins 1 loss.    Win streak 6

Jules has a little dog in her and's only going to get better especially if she can hit the 3 like today.
