From the 247 site neither Gallo nor Newton are expected to play.  However, sounds like Newton will play in the Marian game.

From Osterman, this directly from Woody on his Friday morning Zoom -

Mike Woodson says Trey Galloway and Jakai Newton both participated, in "limited" minutes, in a team scrimmage yesterday. "They have not fully recovered. They might tell you guys (they have) but that's the whole reason we're being very cautious."   More from Osterman - "I thought in the scrimmage the other day, they both played well for the minutes we played them. They each played 15-18 minutes."  Scrimmage was a couple days ago, sorry.

What about Rayford? I don't know why but I'm intrigued to see him play at least a minute.

I'm gonna say this in the most IU Basketball ways possible:

  • Rayford's jump shot makes a freshman Lexus Bargesser look like Steph Curry.
  • Stanford Robinson is a far better shooter than Rayford ... with either hand.

Well that’s that. Geez. A Galloway/Rayford game of Horse would go on infinitely.

Talk about a hideous shooting stroke. Could jump out of the gym though… and to his credit, believe he wound up having a fairly lengthy professional career overseas. Seemed like a good dude while here.

Ehhhhhh ... team Stan, Troy, and Noah may not have exactly been the finest culture builders.

Agree from a culture builder perspective. On an interpersonal level I think Stan was a nice kid with some bad habits.

Troy on the other hand, IDK… but always impressed that he could be such an athlete despite the self inflicted harm to his lung capacity, lol

Stan and Troy were hilarious to be around. I had a lot of classes with them and ended up doing some in-class group work together. I’m sure they were a great hang (depending on what you’re into.)

But having to rely on them for anything in the real world? Yikes.

Here's the whole response re:  Gallo & Newton -

Usually I think we get a lot of 'it's none of your business' from Woodson, but in this case I'm glad he seemed to be open about where each of them are currently at.  Encouraged that Newton is able to get going some in scrimmages finally.

Ironically i have disney and hulu and can log into the page link I sent but since nothing is playing now i cannot tell if I have access.  Will check at 3pm when the next thing is on and see

I have Disney+ and it asks me to log in under that account.  Same thing, I can see the game but it states that the Event Hasn't Started Yet so don't know if I have access.

I would like to watch the game, but this one isn't going to be one that I would watch if I had to spend $10 on if I had to subscribe and then unsubscride to get it.

What is your cable/satellite provider? Do you have access to the SEC channel? If so, you should be able to watch via SEC+. I just checked and my DirecTV account will let me in.

Will the game be on the radio?

Found it myself.  Yes game is on the radio with Don Fischer and Eric Suhr doing the call.
