Jade lived in Ellettsville. He was a great guy, he helped me in my football career many times during the summer. He would have me run routes. I graduated with his daughter, his wife was a 5th grade teacher at our school for many years. Just a great family. Jade had so many great stories. Here in the last few years you could find him at the gas station buying lottery tickets and smoking a cigarette. RIP Jade

He and other football players were in my speech class in 1969.  A fun guy to know back then.  And a joy to cheer for at IU during games.
