IU Ladies get knocked down in rankings 20 to 25.  Looking different this year in comparison to last year and the last few years.

North Carolina State goes up 10 to 15.

Stanford goes up to 9 or above and is a championship contender in March.

Jet Lag and 3 hours time zone difference.

I don’t like that excuse. Just got beat with better athleticism and height.

No kidding.  Stanford is a noticeable much better team and a National Championship contender as they are over and over again.

Well, we did this to some pretty good teams a year ago.

My overreaction is that this is an early warning sign that the success we achieved last year likely won't be repeated. I didn't expect a win, but I also didn't expect us to look completely outmatched.

That’s a realistic and accurate assessment.

The Real McCoys beating up the Pretenders.

Noticeable difference in physicality.  Bigger, quicker, and more bounce in Stanford.

3 hours difference time zone….for years big ten teams (Ohio State and Michigan) had same challenges in the New Years Day Rose Bowl.

The game started at 5ET so that isn't an excuse

Not an excuse…but a 5 or 6 hour flight getting ready and acclimated upon arrival… IU looked slow and tired…couldn’t throw the ball in the ocean while a really high level team awaits in the comforts of their home where they prepare and play all the time ….Stanford is really high level.

Ohio State gets beat by 8 or 9 at USC.

That was probably Stanford's best game of the year--everything went right for them. And IU's worst game of the year--everything went wrong. Bright spot was Lenee Beaumont. Can shoot the 3. Can shoot the pull-up. Good court awareness and good passer. Needs to play more.

Welcome to the board mickey!
