Yeah, that’s what I meant, just poorly phrased. Cream as a main color is a no-go. As trim it can work in the right hands.

I think something like Florida State or Boston College. A bit darker than the cream that would get used but it could definitely work as an accent color. No clue why Adidas has never tried. Could even work for football.

The Candy Stripe baselines are COOL. I like the Indiana State Flag nod on the shorts, not sure about the placement though... maybe better in a smaller size on the back of the neck/opposite shoulder of the B1G logo. Think the waist band should also have candy stripes.

I don't hate the red streak down the middle (seems fashionable with the NBA tournament these days, but does feel weird to me...) but IMO the court should always have the state of Indiana and an IU logo at half court. I don't think you have to get rid of the red streak for that though and it would look way better with that outline over it. 

The cursive Bloomington, I do like... a lot, but not SO prominently. Maybe on the back of the shorts where we currently have the stars and on the sides of the diagonal sides of halfcourt. Cursive Indiana on the chest would make it close to perfect IMO

Nice! I think that would look better with a red collar and waist band, but to each their own. Court looks sick -hopefully IUFB can get the endzone done in candy stripe. The university doesn't take advantage enough of the iconic candy stripes imo

I completely 100% get people not wanting Bloomington on the uniforms so prominently. We are THE Indiana Hoosiers after all...

But I think it would be a nice homage to the IU school system to include the script Bloomington in a subtle place like the back of the shorts/waistband or sideline of the court... Again, just as an alternate concept. Not advocating for any of this to actually become part of the home/away jerseys or court for any home game other than MAYBE 1x every year or two

Saw there is a discussion on football uni's in the transfer portal thread so bumping this one with something I saw on Twitter. Apparently they wore the light blue for one year in the 50s or 60s I think. This is an interesting alternate concept!

A lot going on... kinda look like Ole Miss. I like the candy stripes.

second of all.... hate them.  Not a fan of baby blue, even STL Cards baby blues.

If we were one of Adidas's featured teams, I would be fine with it. KU, UL, and UW all seem to get priority over us.

Doesn't just seem that way, it is that way. Add in Texas A&M, Miami, Nebraska and maybe a couple others that are actually in a tier above Indiana on the football side. There was an article about it that came out over the summer that had a bunch of IU fans up in arms.
