The Wooten 150 Camp is currently underway.  This from Adam Finkelstein.

Meleek Thomas, Lincoln Park Charter School (PA), 2025 – If Barrett was the most pleasant surprise, then Thomas was the most impressive underclassman. He made some mistakes typical of young players as he was a little wild and ball dominant in moments, but the sheer talent was glaring. He was smooth with the ball, able to create with his dribble, knocking down shots, and showing positive instincts and energy. Combine that with his positional size and a frame that is only just beginning to fill out, and it’s easy to see why schools are already taking notice. Thomas told 247Sports that he is expecting Kentucky in to see him in the near future and is planning to visit Indiana for their game against North Carolina.

Adam Finkelstein at the USA Junior Camp:

Meleek Thomas, 6’3”, Lincoln Park (PA) – Thomas made a big impression last weekend in Dallas, standing out as the top underclassmen prospects at the Wootten 150 Camp. This weekend, he’s picking up right where he left off as he had the gym buzzing with his shot-making ability from behind the arc, not to mention a few quick crossovers to match. Similar to last weekend, there were still moments where his youthful exuberance got the better of him, but nonetheless, both his natural talent and the versatility of his weapons continues to stand out.

Jamie Shaw from the USA Junior Camp:

While Jalen Haralson and Isiah Harwell will have staying power at the top of this conversation, watch for Meleek Thomas to make a push as well. Thomas may not be everyone’s cup of tea; however, there is no denying the fact he is a high-level shot maker. Thomas is a volume scorer, but one where it is only a matter of time before he gets rolling. The Pittsburgh (PA) Lincoln Park product further showed in this setting; he gets buckets.

Jamie Shaw from the USAS Junior Camp:

MVP: Four-star SG Maleek Thomas

This weekend’s performance from Meleek Thomas showcased electric scoring ability. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard’s scoring ability was on full display throughout. Sure, he is a tough shot-taker, but he also proved to be a tough shot-maker. The confidence of the Pittsburgh (PA) Lincoln Park sophomore did not waver, no matter the defender. Thomas might have a case as one of the most electric scorers in high school basketball; he certainly brought excitement among onlookers to track his progression closely.
