He’s better off staying slim and who he is. Exceptional talent

He is a hell of a shot blocker as is, but do think he'll have to put some muscle on.

Bottom line, there really isn't anyone like him in the NCAA.  ANd he's just 19.

Think it all depends on his ability to put on weight and muscle.  I think he's going to be pretty damn good.

I just have trouble seeing it with his frame. Maybe it’s because there really isn’t anyone to compare him to. I’m more than happy to be wrong because he’s really fun to watch, but even with his attitude, at his size I think he’ll get bullied. Is he still as effective if he adds 20 pounds? He seems higher risk than Banchero, Ivey, Smith because of that with a similar (but a bit higher) ceiling to Smith.

I think one thing that needs to be considered is that he;s not going to be asked to defend post players at the NBA level.  He'll likely be guarding players smaller than him and backing him down or getting past him gets negated some by his length.

That charge call could have just as easily been a flop warning. Zags getting some 1-seed officiating.

I’m still wondering what earns you a flop warning. I like getting rid of the crazy flopping, but it’s wildly inconsistent.

Honestly, just call a flop a foul.  A lot of times when you flop, you end up impeding the offensive players progress anyway.

FWIW, I think I know why Hardaway never calls timeout:  any adjustment he can think up will be worse than they opposing coach makes.  The opposing coach is playing checkers while Penny is playing crazy eights.

Nembhard interested in another year of college ball? We could use some of that shooting. Know there’s a lot of Gonzaga hate on this board, but I really wish we could get to that level on offense

I haven’t seen the Zags much this year. Is Holmgren really the #1 pick in the draft. Long, has skills, but physically??

EDIT: oops, just saw that he was discussed a few pots ago..LOL

Jabari Smith and Banchero I’d expect would be ahead of him but think he’s certainly gotta be in the top 5?
