(2025)- Trent Sisley to INDIANA

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

MVA with an easy 81-39 win over Southeastern Prep Academy.

Trent 14p   6r    3a

Watched a replay and it's very clear that the move to MVA has been very good for Trent's game.  It was clearly inferior competition but it was still a good stat line for 17 minutes of court time.

Side note.  DeZhon Hall originally attended Indianapolis Pike HS and Braylen Langley originally attended Evansville Reitz HS and was a teammate of Jaylen Mitchell.

Got to watch Hall at a showcase event a few weeks ago. He’s a really good athlete who competes his a$$ off. His skill level may not get to high major by ‘26, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he takes the Javon Small path and ends up a big-time mid-major kid who becomes a serious  portal target for HM’s as maybe a junior.

Interesting. IIRC from last year, McDAA has a rule that only 3 nominees from a certain school can actually be selected. I remember Newell and Wright I believe played in the Jordan Brand All Star game... the perks of being an MVA superstar...

MVA is steamrolling Utah Prep leading 42-15 at halftime.  Trent playing well with 8 pts and 3 reb.

So. Keith Smart’s debut seems a bit….shaky.

Coach Smart must have given his team a good halftime speech as Utah Prep played much better in the 2nd half and cut the lead to 10 with just over 2 min. left in the game.  But MVA held on for a 74-60 win and Trent Sisley was a major contributor to that win.    He finished with 16p;  5r;  4a.

Well, the official box score differs from what was previously tweeted but regardless, Trent was very key in MVA winning this game.

Yeah, not sure he took 12 shot attempts but nice outing.  As Biancardi said, he does all the dirty work. His shot has improved a great deal and he’s definitely developing physically. Monteverde is back on ESPNU tomorrow at 3pm ET.

Indiana Commit Trent Sisley was active on both ends of the floor finishing with 15 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. The versatility he has shown being able to play his best games against the top teams on the Montverde Academy schedule shows how important he is to the teams success. Sometimes acting as a Point Forward, he’s able to impact the game in a variety of different ways in a short amount of time.

I’ve never seen Trent up close. Is he a legit 6’7”?
