RaceToTheTop Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Collin Chandler (Kentucky) who entered the portal a couple of days ago sent a message out to UK fans saying he appreciated them and everything Coach Pope did for him, but that he would be returning to play at home. He's from Utah, so that would either be Utah or BYU -- with their NIL, I would assume it's BYU. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Hodgeson and Providence making some splashes. Dink Pate and Miles Byrd today. Not terrible for Providence. Pate has been in rumor circles for many. RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

Unexpectedflash Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Kinda surprised he’s entering after the March heroics but wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on this one Quote

PGs and Cs in the portal are getting crazy money. Super interesting to see where results stand compared to reported NIL budgets. I'd give him a look. Quote

But man, gotta be annoying as an Iowa fan not to keep him after this year. Iowa is always gonna have a ceiling no matter how great their coach is. Thankfully. Ryno6284 and Home Jersey 2 Quote

I just am not convinced that there is a limitation if / when you have a great coach (don't wanna restart the McCollum debate). All it takes is nailing the scout consistently enough for the stars to align IMO. Certainly more of an uphill climb at Iowa than UNC. And totally sucks for Iowa fans regardless BA47591 1 Quote

I have no idea what Iowa was paying him but who knows…this could be a case of him hoping to go from 400-500k to 1.8-2.0mm. I can’t imagine being in college (if you can call some of these kids actually being in college) and having schools waving multi-millions at me. Crazy times. Home Jersey 1 Quote

The NCAA is toothless, and Congress is terrified of being drawn into the fray. Either party's legislation would be challenged in the courts and used as a ball bat during election periods. I can easily see contracts for college athletes skyrocketing, and eligibility rules lengthened to the point college athletics collapses under it's own weight. Quote

He attended Bullis School in Potomoc, MD so KJ may have had contact with him at his previous stop. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
