That’s precisely what made think of those recruitments. Crean saw Grant Gelon hit a few threes one time and offered him a scholarship. Lol. One of the craziest recruitments I can remember. He was clearly not good enough.

There are a couple of games of Harper from last year on YouTube. Has a nice frame. Has solid athleticism with explosiveness. Pretty lefty stroke with easy range. His footwork looks good. Looks like he’s been coached some. Showed a jab step series and shot a very efficient and balanced step back. That’s about what you can tell because he doesn’t play with the ball. Flashed defensive effort. That’s about it. Would probably be a fun kid to go check out if you live near Merrillville. Side note: Both games were played on a curtained off court at a Y or Rec Center of some kind. So I assume Bosco doesn’t have a gym.
