I know you well enough to know you know which team is which but also know you are giving an unbiased opinion of those three resumes.  What about A v B?

A lot closer between those 2 teams than I would have thought before I compared the 2.   The Michigan loss at home for St John’s sticks out for me  so I would still take Virginia as if today but man they are closer to the cut line for me now then I would of first thought.   Some have them safely in and St John’s still next 4 out.   Bubble is starting to become a mess with them bottom teams losing.   Nicely done on picking some close blind resumes

St.John’s last two regular season games are DePaul and Georgetown.  Despite those being quad 3 or 4 games, assuming they win I would think they are more in need of bumping up the win total than their SOS.  May 19-12 with a NET of about 40 I would think they could bump themselves up to last 4 in.  Would still want more security, though, from bid stealers.

They need Nova to finish strong.  They only have 1 win against solid tourney team.  Creighton at home.   They swept Nova.  Utah and Providence are bubble teams so good wins to have but they could possibly only have 1 win against a tourney team heading into the big east tourney. Plus they lost to Michigan at home.  Definitely bubble worthy

What’s funny is they could use Nova finishing well to help their resume but Nova could be a team they are fighting with for a spot.

If IU wins out + 2 in BTT puts them at 20-13 before the championship. Is that good enough to get them in?

Win the BTT or head to the NIT. No doubt in my mind

Metrics are too bad at this point in the season and not enough games to build them up to where they will need to be.   Also the 20 wins only 2 or 3 would be against other tourney teams.  Losing at home to Nebraska and Northwestern were the nail in IUs at large coffin

What's funny is that IU won two  games this week that were quad one wins, but by the end of the season they may not be quad one wins because those teams lost to IU.  Wisky is currently at 22 and Maryland was at 70 entering today.  If Wisky drops to 26+ and Maryland to 76+, neither are quad one wins.

Example IU was 104 and won a Q1 game at Maryland and only moved to 101 in the NET.   Maryland went from 70 to 74

The NIT will start by taking the top two NET teams from each of the top six conferences.  IU will assuredly not be in that group because of how much they would need to make up in NET.  Don’t assume IU will make the NIT.
