Ohio St? yeah they are out.  Only 2 games over .500 won’t get it done.   Hurts IU resume a little though.   That was 2 wins against the field that will be taken away since the buckeyes will be in the crown tourney

A teams NET number isn’t as important as their opponents NET number. Meaning the NET is used as a sorting tool.  Once they sort the teams they will then look at the team sheets and evaluate from there.

From what I’ve tried to learn from you — basically the importance of NET is mainly it determines what quad each of your games are.  Correct me if I’m off.

That’s most of it yeah it sorts your games by your opponents NET number. However the Quads sort a teams wins but   Not all games within each quad are created equal

Yes, I’ve gotten that.  I’m learning slowly.

would you say a quad 1 road game is valued more than a home one?  I know that they have road and neutral games listed on the net rankings page.

Depends on who you beat.  If you beat the number 1 NET team at home that’s going to be a way better Q1 win then winning a Q1 road win at NET 75 even though they both are Q 1 wins

Georgia.   They are in regardless of this game.  Oklahoma losing here would matter to IU

Do you think IU needs to win tomorrow to avoid Dayton?

I’m nervous IU will get left out completely if they lay an egg tomorrow.

It's possible.  Root for A&M over Texas, Wake Forest over UNC and Marquette over Xavier.  But mostly IU to simply win.  Still need to watch out for bid stealers as well.
