SERIES HISTORY UCLA leads 1-0 LAST MEETING 1974-75 – L, 61-74 (NWIT, Amarillo, Texas) NOTES Indiana improved to 6-0 for the first time under fifth-year head coach Teri Moren after a 87-73 win over Wake Forest. It matches the program's best start since 2013-14 when IU went 14-0. Against the Demon Deacons, redshirt junior Ali Patberg dropped 30 points while sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn tied a career-high 25 points as Indiana shot 52.4 percent from the floor and hit eight 3-pointers. The Hoosiers are in the midst of a coast-to-coast road trip that started in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Wednesday. Over the course of five days, Indiana will travel approximately 5,500 miles when it faces UCLA on Sunday. The pair of redshirt juniors continues to pace IU, with guard Ali Patberg leading the way with team-highs of 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Forward Brenna Wise adds 14.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. When the Bruins and Hoosiers square off on Sunday, it will be the first meeting between the two schools since 1974-75 when they met in the NWIT in Amarillo, Texas. It will be the first home meeting for either team in the series and the first Pac 12 opponent for IU since 2001. LockdownD, HoosierAloha and IUsafety 3 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 So these women might be kinda sorta good? Great way to start the season with a really tough road win. I think I heard Greg Murray say that UCLA's only lost 3 of their last 52 home games and those 3 losses were all to highly ranked teams. Iugradman, southsidehoosier, IUsafety and 3 others 6 Quote
