So many things to try to keep up on today and so little time!!!

Xavier batting in the bottom of the 5th with Hoosiers holding an 8-3 lead but the bases are loaded with nobody out for Xavier.   Foley got 2 strikeouts and a pop-up and Xavier does not score.  Hoosiers lead 8-3 after 5 complete.

Bothwell started on the mound and went 3 innings.  Vega, Burton and Foley have all seen mound duty since then.  We've scored in every inning.  Tibbitts has 2-HRs on the day and 4 RBI.  Pyne and Cerny have also homered.

Probably the stench from the porta potties;). I have been to many (probably 40 in all) college baseball stadiums and this one at Xavier is easily the worst that is still in use I have seen. The only rival to it is Purdue's old stadium before they built Alexander Field.

Both of those places make Sembower Field look world class and that is hard to do! Not kidding.

The “funky skunk” was ganja smoke from left, right, and center.  Everywhere we went around campus.

8-6 final score.  Xavier scored their last 3 runs off Levy in the 8th but Risedorph closed them out in the 9th for the Save.  Bothwell gets the Win.  We only had 6 hits but 4 of them were HRs which accounted for 6 of our 8 runs.

This weekend we host PUke (23-23) (10-8).  On the 16th we host Evansville and then travel to East Lansing the following weekend to wrap up conference play.

Could be both:). There was definitely a slight odor (albeit very mild) coming from the porta potties as I sat in the bleachers today!

It's great to see how our athletic programs across the board(well except for..), are all in great shape moving forward. Good to great coaches, who are passionate about IU. Bloomington is a "cool" place to be again. We've always been a "blue blood", but we're finally starting to act like it for the first time in ? years
