ccgeneral Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 We wrap up this 4 game homestand with the Mocs tonight @ 7 pm ET. We won 79-76 at their place last year. Go Hoosiers! Chattanooga comes to Bloomington off their first win of the year versus Presbyterian (71-51) on Saturday. They are led by redshirt senior Aryanna Gilbert (12.5 ppg., 6.5 rpg., 50% FG) and sophomore guard Lakelyn Bouldin (11.8 ppg.). The Mocs were selected second in the annual SoCon preseason poll while head coach Jim Foster is in his fifth season at the helm of the program. mamasa Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I'll be anxious to see how we play after an intense last game, with us having a young bench. I really like this team, hope they can manage to grow each game. I don't know if this old guy's heart can handle another game like the last one, lol HoosierAloha and ccgeneral 2 Quote
ccgeneral Posted November 20, 2017 Author Posted November 20, 2017 Looks like Warthen will get the start tonight. @murph_wheelerIU: Freshman Bendu Yeaney is dressed out but not warming up with #iuwbb The word is she will be held out tonight with a minor injury due to precautionary reasons Quote
ccgeneral Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 IU 15-11 end of 1. Slow start, but we finish on a 11-3 run. Royster - 4/3 Cahill - 4/3 Marchese - 3 Buss - 2 pts, 2 asts Wickware - 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Good to see Royster's numbers. If she can play with consistency this season, it would be a huge plus and not put so much reliance on the freshmen. Quote
ccgeneral Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 IU 27-23 @ half. Buss leads with 9, Cahill and Royster with 6 apiece. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 I should have kept my mouth shut about Royster; hasn't done a whole lot since the 1st Q although she was on the bench for quite a bit in the first half with 2 fouls. Quote
ccgeneral Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 UTC starts the 4th on a 6-0 run.. Up 9 now. Quote

Aaron Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Chattanooga like WKU is the best team in their conference and made NCAA tourney last year. Coached by former OSU coach Jim Foster who I have no idea why he was fired and the Mocs are the beneficiaries and have been to tourney every year since he has been the coach. I said that this was a really tough schedule on Friday after the win and I stand by that. Now with that said this is a game you should absolutely win and I still am not sold on the direction of this program when Buss and Cahil leave after this year. We do have a couple 5 star recruits the last couple years (Penn this year and Berger next) but I am still not sold on Moren at the head of the program and a lot of the talent while better is still a touch below Big Ten standards. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Only 3 of 14 on 3's and 10 of 18 FT's; 16 TO's - that's the ballgame. We out-rebounded 'Nooga 39-33. mamasa 1 Quote
