As I have said countless times we swing for fences way to much. He hit a ton of HR's but also fly out a ton as result and make less solid contact as result. Also as I said baseball gods clearly don't like us this tourney with all the things that have gone against us

Ugh. Swinging at a bad 2-1 pitch and beating it into the ground with the winning run on second. At that point, you have the advantage -- make sure it's a good pitch. Make him throw you a strike.

@HoosierBaseball and @umichbaseball have set a Big Ten Tournament record for longest game. Previous was 4:06 in 2007 by OSU and MINN

Well we burned Kruger who should of started tomorrow (and will now be stuck with Saalfrank) but we got it. Now no question we make tourney with another top 30 RPI win. If its Minny we have home field and if it's NW we toss a coin I believe (I know the formula pretty well from previous Big Ten Tournaments and Regionals but its so complicated I am not even going to try to explain it).
