Committed 4/3/17.

Just decommitted from Florida due to coaching change. From Fort Wayne (Homestead). She had 29 in the 4A final against Pike. 

@coachbeckett: McLaughlin had committed prior to her Junior season in October 2015. She had chosen the Gators over offers from Purdue, Indiana, Iowa St, Pitt

“I’ve kept it kind of limited. I have been looking at Purdue and Michigan as well as Florida. I’m considering them, and I’m going to keep looking really hard at those three schools. They’re all three amazing schools so we’ll see within the next month or so.” McLaughlin also indicated she is waiting to see whom the Gators hire to replace Butler.

Cameron Newbauer's latest step in his still-rising basketball coaching career is a big one. Newbauer, 38, a Leo High School and IPFW alum, was named the University of Florida women's basketball coach today, taking over after spending four years as the coach at Belmont University.

Too bad he didn't take the iu job when cmiller left. He was the first person we offered. Then he promptly took m. Muensterman (prolific scoring wing and all time Indiana assist leader from the buss-Cahill-walter class) and created a strong program at belmont
